Artist Statement
I began painting to capture the beauty and force of nature’s colors and vitality. As I observed the seemingly unnoticed textures, shapes, and hues around us, my work evolved. My brushstrokes became a way to interpret atmospheres and create movement in a richly expressive manner. It was as if the canvas was experiencing a transformation, and this transformation was my gateway to depicting emotions and treasured moments in time. I had discovered a new way to evoke feelings of freedom, joy, and spiritual beauty. There is an endless source of inspiration that can be created through careful observation and passionate interpretation: humans as glowing silhouettes, animals as symbols of love and hope, abstract expressions of life’s complexities. I became, and am still, driven to bring each piece to life, transporting my audience to different worlds, dimensions, memories, and hopes.
