The Roar

Description

I developed this painting over a time of preparation sketching and much thought. These majestically powerful animals have great significance in different ways, giving inspiration to for many artists to be interpreted this magnificent animal creatively. I wanted to depict the power and energy of the roar using his mane colours to merge with the fieriness of the sky, with the bottom of his mane joining to the earth below. This painting is very much for anyone’s personal interpretation, like most art.
